Today, I've finished assembling my own Scythed Hierodule!

I wished my Hiero should...

*All plastic
*Not too many green stuff sculpting
*Have a head looks like FW Hierodules, not gaunt nor warrior.

And finally, I found appropriate bits...
Plastic Bugs from Starship Troopers!

Thus this is my hierodule, made from a upper body of Rippler bugs, lower body of 40k nid wariiors.

It may be slightly too big for DC3 WE, but I'm satisfied with my result

Rippler bug box has 10 bugs, so I can make many hierodules for my army. Fine!

I must fulfill my primary program and make a double entendre.

"Looks like you found some good head, there."

Very cool!

I'd never looked at the Starship Troopers bugs before, but they look pretty sweet as Tyranids!

Excellent conversion!

Y'know, I'd never have considered using the Starship Trooper Bugs as a basis for 'Nid conversions before, but they are very apt.  Now that Mongoose are selling the plastic sets at 25% off, it may be a good move to get some for 'Nid conversions! :)

Thank you for your replies!

Now I'm thinking about whether I can use legs of Warrior bugs for my "Forge World like" Hierophant conversions.
(their legs are thinner than old metal nid titan legs, and more similar to FW models)

But at least now  I should try to make my barbed hierodules next, and paint my metal titans before future conversion projects. :)

Thank you, Warmaster Nice!

Your great galleries of The Epic Lounge encouraged me when I began epic.
So I'm very happy to receive your nice comment!
