lol. Try placing it next to a Thunderbrick or TL era T-hawk. That'll just look downright ridiculous! Very cool model nevertheless! |

Hehe, I'm tempted to get one and convert it to a Thunderhawk Transporter. |

(Cuban Commissar @ Mar. 05 2007,07:11) QUOTE By the way I got this little antenna peice with the Thunderhawk. Where does it go? It goes on the main hull, left hand side, near the top, about level with the back of the cockpit. See the little oblong recess? The antennae's base slots into that. |

hmm... is the Thunderhawk Transporter going to be even larger? The reason why I wanted to convert this to a Transporter is to try and keep things in scale... a screwed up scale to begin with anyway. Just noticed though, why do you have the flaps above the wings raised? Arent they suppose to attatch to the wings as a secondary support? Any pics of this new Thunderhawk Transporter? |

When I get home I look for that. |

(Lextar @ Mar. 05 2007,03:33) QUOTE Just noticed though, why do you have the flaps above the wings raised? Arent they suppose to attatch to the wings as a secondary support? Lextar, Very good Question. Here is my reason. It appeared to me that the lascannon wings were meant to pivot. If you look at this picture from the 40K scale Thunderhawk the huge pivots are clearly seen. ![]() It appears the wings can go up or down. Now in every picture I have seen they are only in the down position. Then it dawned on me that the only pictures I have seen is when The Thunderhawk is landed. So this got me thinking that the wings may move up when in flight which is how I have built my Thunderhawk. I just thinking "Lock S-foils to attack position" ![]() So that why they are like that. If I'm wrong well at least it looks diffirent. Thanks |

(Lextar @ Mar. 05 2007,10:33) QUOTE hmm... is the Thunderhawk Transporter going to be even larger? Only a tiny bit larger. The reason why I wanted to convert this to a Transporter is to try and keep things in scale... a screwed up scale to begin with anyway. I'm replacing all my Thunderhawks with FW Thunderhawks, precisely because they are in scale with (most of) the rest of Epic. Any pics of this new Thunderhawk Transporter? ![]() |
