Here we go. ?A bunch of retro models getting close to the painting stage. I got the 4 warhounds from a mate last year, (he wanted to replace them with the new ones). I've finally(!!) got them stripped, cleaned up. posed and assembled ? ![]() I'm about to start a killer grad course, so this blog won't progress at light speed. Still I will attack things one step at a time and hopefully I will have made some decent progress by the end of the year. As I like games with figures en masse I'm not aiming for works of art but?tidy and functional paintjobs (which I will be able to go back to later to add details). ![]() Also on my to do list are bits and pieces to finish off existing armies: Epic Eldar Paint Warlock titan Paint 2 Revenants Assemble and paint 4 Vypers, 8 Shining Spears. Epic Guard Paint more Infantry, rebase some old. Epic Orks Make one more transport box Paint 4 more Flak Wagons, and another 20 Big Gunz. Assemble and paint 2 more gargants, 6 Supa Gunz, 8 Death Koptas. Epic Marines Make transport for t-hawks and aerospace. Paint 4 pods, cruiser, 2 preds, 6 rhinos, 6 razorbacks, 6 hunters, 4 more termis, 12 more tacs, 2 Landraiders. Epic Tyranids Fix up transport box. 20 Raveners from rippers, plus another 600 points of commons. WFB: 2 new Giants (won in competitions last year) Scenery Paint Bollards, 2 Bridges, buy and paint the rest of the GZG 6mm sci-fi range. |

Awesome looking force, look forward to seeing your progress. Those are my favorite version of the Warlord titan, I used magnets in mine to keep the weapon systems interchangable. Keep up the good work. Laters |

I'll be the first to admit I'm a sucker for Titans. Naturally this thread really appeals to me. I'm really looking forward to your progress on these, Mark. Also, good luck on the grad work. |

Thanks for the comments guys! A little more progress with basing now done. Ruin sprues, sand, ballast, and cork. Just to give a bit more detail to help bring out the scale of the titans. A few Eldar bases redone as well. ![]() |

(Charad @ Feb. 11 2007,09:31) QUOTE You planned to make them step by step the whole army at same time? Well I don't like doing individual models, so I will probably be trying to paint the whole lot at the same time (or close to it), broken down into stages. So all the metals on all the titans, then all the panelling, etc. The knights will be done seperately, and some other races things will be done before them - like some eldar firestorms and the eldar titans in the pic. |
