I decided a little while ago that I was going to add a Daemon Prince to the upcoming Chaos army that Im planning and working on. Yesterday the inspiration came after a game of 40K and while I was doing some modeling on my Chaos Titan.

This is the first attempt, but I dont know if its going to be the last

I started with mostly old Epic bits and pieces that I had been using for Nurglings for 40K, chopping the Bloodletter( ? ) in half to get some legs and then cutting up a Troll for the torso, I put these together to get a basic idea of the size and a rough shape of what I wanted.







After this I cut up a Minotaur to get the head with the pointy horns for the head, Im not entirely sure if this will be a head that I'll keep, but its a starting point.





I then got this pink dude (think its a horror or something...) and took his arms off, one of the hands would be converted into a powerfist and the other was removed to put on the  Bloodletter hand.

The Bloodletter sword and hand were readjusted and were added.











The next stage was to try to bring it up to a position that it sort of looked like an Epic figures, so SM shoulder pads were then made up with putty.







I then began on the torso armour, but as the camera batteries died, they'll have to wait till the next installment.

Epic- A version of the game with even smaller models that is often dominated by titans which are vehicles the size of a large building and have the ability to pwn...everything. There is also infantry, whose only function in Epic is to provide valuable traction to Titans walking across snowy paths.

Wow! Really cool! And now you go make an entire detachment of them!
