I'm looking for movable type (little blocks of metal with a letter or number raised on one side) that print at 2mm per character. Even though I'm a software developer, my internet search skills are oddly retarded, so I appeal for help. Does anyone know where I can get a set of movable type in the 2mm range? |

I'd have guessed for imprinting numbers or characters into moulds to make characters in relief on models .... ![]() ![]() |

It's part of Operation: SVCSucks. I'm going to experiment making 1/2 inch resin counters for Federation and Empire . |

Ah, I see. Interesting stuff - are their models any good? |

No, their miniatures suck bad. Real bad. Federation & Empire is / was a board game portraying nation-level combat between the Federation, Klingons, Romulans, et.al., and it is stil in production. Each ship is represented by a .5 inch double sided cardboard counter. I want to make a few resin counters for myself as proof of concept. Why not just make them out of cardboard? I don't like my own cardboard counters. And it costs too much to have them printed and stamped in low quantities. |

Ah, right. I'm not a big fan of cardboard, either. Pity the models are poor. Thanks for the gen. |
