Well Warmaster has been doing a lot of good Tyranid work and I've been doing my own too, but not as many, and I've been working on my troops first.

So here's a sneak peak of my work.

Stunning work, Lextar - but it's Warmaster Nice and Markconz and a few others who are working on Nids, not me!  :D
Although now I'm tempted.....

Hehe oops. I meant Warmaster Nice. Got the names mixed up as I was going through the massive thread of Warmaster's Tyranids and Vanvlak's Chaos.

Darn, was planning to release my Conversion guide, but missing the latest Carnifex picture I was planning to include.

Oh well... here's the complete Carnifex. I like the look of it, but once painted, not so great :( I wish I picked a better colour scheme.

It's currently a dark purple with red armour plating. The dark purple swamps most the details. And also since watering it down, the colour looks shiny for some reason :(

Bugger! :( I'm afraid to paint my own Nids for the very same reason: It is almost ipossible to strip conversions like this without destroying the entier model.
The conversion itself looks awsone thogh!

Great conversion. Lex, my washed stuff comes out shiny - apply a bit of drybrush in sand colour, it usually dulls the finish very rapidly, and as a bonus can provide subtle shading.  :D
