Hi all,
over the end of 2006 and beginning of 2007 I built this beastie. This was to be my Christmas project, but I only finished it today. It's in 6mm scale, it's called the Antikither, and it's - ah - weird: the thingy is a hovering aircraft carrier, which can go on land and sea. More of a mobile base, actually. Or something of the sort.

It includes a FREE game for you people out there :p  : try to identify as many bits as you can! Some are easy, others less so. No prizes though! And a hint: no GW stuff other than 2 transfers - or parts of them, to be precise.
Well, here goes.

Bad me!
That was the base. I havn't stuck it on, so whenever I use the base the beastie just perches on top of this - a sort of column of energy reaching out from the A to the ground.

Ok, no more teasing, here it is.  :confuse:

The full monty.

Can you see the Epic scale Rhino next to it?  :p

Here's it being put to some use. Vertex and Varkators on the deck.  :;):

Let's see, the flight deck is a printer or copy machine feed tray, the superstructure looks like maybe an electrical box providing bulk, some keyboard keys, I think I see a lego in there, and a bunch other electrical components I can't readily identify.  That's pretty cool!

Here's a Varkator on the assisted take-off ramp.  :blues:

Ah, our first competitor!
the flight deck is a printer or copy machine feed tray

Printer tray - in fact, the bulk is made of disassembled and reassembled bits of tray.

the superstructure looks like maybe an electrical box providing bulk...
Part of a contactor.

..some keyboard keys
Yup.  :p

I think I see a lego in there
Afraid not, sergeant.

and a bunch other electrical components

A few bits of circuit boards identical to the wings I added to the Vertex.

Nice work, sergeant.    :D

Nope, nice work to you!  That's an impressive piece of modelling.  Well, off to the painting table with me...

V, that has got to be the craziest, maddest, kewlest scratch-bash you've ever done, and THAT is saying something!

Removing those parts already guessed at, I (think I) recognise:
* Kitty litter and static flock on the base!
* A small electric motor on the flight deck
* metal washers
* cogs (you total Mechanicus Cogboy, there had to be some in there ey?)
* the tops off a glue bottle and some biros

Wicked....  :p

It warms the heart to see more stuff being recycled into usable (and nifty) minatures!  Bravo, I say!

*sniff* you actualy thought of the kitty litter! I'm touched  :D  :D
No washers, no electric motors, no biro tops - but the glue tops and the cogs (naturally) are there - from the printer itself and from a white-out tape dispenser.
:p
Thanks Iblis - reduce, reuse and RECYCLE
