Snagged a couple of these to use as possible Silver Tower of Slannesh proxies at the local game store today. It's the Tower of Faces from the Dreamblade expansion Baxar's War and each cost me a whopping $2 Canadian. The fig itself is actually cast in purplish clear plastic with the grey "stone work" being painted over top. Once it's snapped off it's base it would be very, very easy to drill the inside out and stick an LED in. The one thing I should mention though is the size of the miniature. At it's base it's roughly 3.5 cm across (1.5") and almost 9 cm high (3.5"). So it would be a war engine size proxy but a sharp looking one. |

Not sure about Silver Towers as Slaanesh doesn't have them, but they would make really really nice objective markers though. |

Looks like it's big enough to be a Warp Palace. ![]() |

Silver Towers are 35mm high, not counting the base. Too big by far, ok for a palace though, but even then a Warlord titan is 60mm high! Philip |

Slannesh obviously had control of my fingers... I was thinking Tzeentch but typed Slannesh... (iblisdrax @ Dec. 29 2006,00:07) QUOTE Question... can you get those things online somewhere? For the record I've never ordered from here but I do use them to check prices of CMG figs: Avenger's Superstore These guys look fairly useful too: Hearts Blood Temple Citadel of Torture Again both are about the same size as the Tower of Faces. |

Yeah, some of the Dreamblade minis are seriously, seriously wierd. Those locations pieces are about right for terrain....I picked up 2 of the Tower of Faces to start making up a set of terrain for a Hell World. |

Mate, I've popped one off the base and it's still taller than a Mk1 Warlord with a Fire Control Centre! I clears an Imperators head by about 2cms. Seriously big. I picked them up from a local game store that is trying to push Dreamblade. For a quick Warp palace I just glued together 2 of the 40mm round bases, blobbed on lots of greenstuff, glued on 4 towers and added some other tower bits left over from Weirboy towers/mega-gargants. No masterpiece, but it looks the part and is in scale with the Silver towers themselves. |

ok, sounds too big then. I was going to do something similar for warp palaces but am hoping to find something like a cheap toy castle from the reject shop, woolies or somplace like that. Cheers Phil |

I'd say either use them as terrain or cut the top parts off for a Warp Palace. Nice minis, though. |

Try a big Pet shop ... they usually have a selection of small to large castles for aquariums ... |
