Anyone else think that the Warjacks shown here might make good Imperial Knights (namely Crusaders or Castellans)?:

http://www.dakkadakka.com/Forums....lt.aspx

Also, what Knights are these?:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Epic-Im....iewItem

They don?t look like Castellans compared to other pictures I?ve seen.

Yep - very nice they are, too.
As for the ebay one (ouch, my neck) they look like metal Paladins.
:D

Yup!  Though they look a bit more suited as warden proxies, to me.

I have no idea.  They almost look like paladins crossed with barons.

are the nights errant fingures? (melta cannon and powerfist?) and the grundback blasters are more the size of the warhound models... so may be a little large...

Are they really that big?  I can tell they must be a lot bulkier than the originals but seeing as they mount a quake cannon that I wouldn?t take to be an issue.  However, if they?re almost Warhound size, then that might look a bit strange.  But I do like them.  And Epic?s scale is out of whack anyway?

The knights on ebay look like Errants to me, too. I think I need to see a chiropractor after straining my neck to look at them.  :p

I have some of the Warmachine warjacks that are like the one pictured, but have a different cannon.  They are the right height to be a knight, but a little too bulky.  If you're good at kitbashing you might be able to make some passable knights out of them.

The knights that are pictured are the metal Knight Paladins.  They are hard to see because of the orientation, but the right arms are chain swords.  The metal paladins differ from the plastic ones in that what the arms have mounted are switched.  On the plastic paladins the cannon is in the right arm while on the rarely seen metal ones the cannon is in the left arm.  Vice-versa for the chain swords.

They can't be Knight Errants because the cannons are definately battle cannons instead of the Melta Guns.  They can't be Knight Lancers because they have distinctly different legs and bodies - more spindly.  And they are obviously not Barons, Castellans, or Crusaders.

You're right, Blarg, those are Paladins. It was hard to tell with them rotated like that.

There are several small warjacks that could work as knights.  I think the Cryx has some small ones that would make halfway decent chaos knights.

The only problem I see is stylistic.  The Warjack styles are sort of steampunk and a bit cartoon-ish.  It would be fine if you made a whole force of them but mixed in with GW figs I think they would look a bit odd.
