I have decided that all of my work (slow and sporadic as it is) should happen in one thread. ?Rather than opening a new one every now and then (or to be more precise once I?ve done something). ?SO expect this thread to die off to the never regions of page something. ?Only to be resurrected for me to show off my latest mad scheme.

Yes like the rest of you my painting projects never stay on focus (I still haven?t finished converting my FW executioners to have sponsons). :D

However enough rambling? On with the show.

First up is my Terminator formation, the first lot of conversions I did for the Sky Lords. ?Yes they are finally based!

First off a group shot. ?Showing the termies trying to defend their chapter master who has decided to stand on a rock to get a better look at what is going on.

Next, a close up of the chapter master and his three drinking buddies. ?I always base my characters on round bases so that I remember they are there.

Thirdly ?are the close assault termies. ?Originally I was going to have one of these per stand, but in the end I decided that I liked them all together, with an imposing shield wall.

Finally (for the termie section) I have the assault cannon stands ?Each one boasts an impressive three heavy weapons (though one is a reaper autocannon!), since the assult termies have decided to do their own think. ?My favourite part of these stands are the spent shell casings for the assault cannons and reaper cannon. ?They are a bit large but help prove that I am insane ?:confuse:

Next is my Prometheus variant land raider. ?Firstly the left hand side, showing the blood drop motif that sows that the chapter is part of the sanguine cult.

Secondly is the right hand side showing a blood filled golden chalice.

My final group are my two epicomm entries. ?I think it is okay to show them here, but if it isn?t I?ll take them down until the judging is over.

First in the group is my mark IV furioso dreadnaught, yet another link to the blood angels.

Secondly is my black banner of mourning. ?Using the tournament list it counts as a chaplain.

Finally a group photo showing the whole of my fully painted Sky Lords (apparently defending a slaaneshi icon).

Next on my painting table are 4 predators my tempest conversion a stand and some marines for my Eagle claw and y 4 dreadnaughts, two of whom have transferred from my on hold ordo redactor army.

Excellent stuff!  You've got a lot of flavour going on there. :)

Well done, Rag. The shell casings were a nice touch. I love group shots. ?:)

Thanks for the thums up.

Alas I haven't been able to finish painting my preds and dreads.  Training to be a teacher is stealing all of my free time and energy.   :(  However, it has managed to send me a bit more crazy and thus I have managed to convert (partially anyway) my second spare Land raider.

Crazy I know.  I don't have the energy to paint a tank red, but I am willing to convert at the epic scale.  :p

This conversion is a crusader variant and the bitz count is at 39 and some green stuff, and I still have some way to go.  I've guestimated it at another 20 odd bits.

But without further ado the picture  :D

Impressive skills, Ragnarok!

Your shield & sword Terminators are great. You should do more. :)

Thanks Hojyn.  I might do some more sword and shield termies as a variant arming for the assault cannon boys (just need to make up some decent stats for them).

However army backgroun has them with only 16 suits of terminator armour so I would be left with a load of spares.

Nice crusader, Rag. :)  I especially like the assault cannon (+ assault cannons on termies).  Trying to cut and bunch those little bits of rod would drive me mad, I think.

I cheated and built a master.  I used 7 30cm long pieces of 0.5mm diameter rod and glued them together as a very long assault cannon, then I just cut off the lengths I need from the master.

Now making and gluing on the barrels for the hurrican bolters will send you mad  :p  :p

Well as I warned, my work is slow and sporadic. ?Since my last post I have been distracted by my WHFB skaven army and a 40K nid biotitan (called Damsel). ?However I am now back on the straight and narrow and working on my epic stuff.

I haven't got much (okay any) painting done, but I have made a ?70.00 mail order of epic stuff and glued most of it together, as well as doing some more work on my first crusader (I want 4 of them in total) and I have made a Hyperion air defense system.

The plan is to make up a dozen stands of beaky boyz and spray the lot before Saturday. ?Then I will go down my local GW and paint the lot their on their painitng stations. ?I might not be allowed to play down there, but no one said anything about painting them in full view of the customers ?:blues:

Now on to the bit you all want, pictures!

Firstly my Land raiders, four standard pattern and a Crusader

Next a bucket full of Rhinos and its variants. ?12 Rhinos, 2 Hunters and 8 Razorbacks. ?Far too many of a normal game (especially since all my force will be air mobile as well), but I like tanks.

Finally my air defense system. ?A Radar dish, 3 air defense units, a multi melta Tarantula and two twin linked assault cannons. ?A non standard varaint to be sure, but one my chapter likes
