Has anyone considered kit-bashing a titan using the new Wraithlord parts?

The size should be about right for the pieces to be almost interchangable but I'm uncertain about what they would look like together and how much conversion would be required to make the styles meld.  I was thinking something along the lines of:
WL legs
Titan torso, wings and head
Shoulders as needed
Wraithlord arm w/ shurikat and Wraithsword for a Powerfist proxy
Brightlance/Pulsar, whichever looks better
(or D-cannon/psycannon for Warlock titan)

I don't have a new Wraithlord so I can't really check.

===

The other idea I had was that the Wraithlord as a core might allow construction of Aspect-themed titans.  I wanted to do a Striking Scorpion style titan a while back and thought that the Karandras head would work.  It turned out to have the perfect profile but the Mandiblasters were as wide as the torso and there was no way to fit the wings on without some serious converting that I wasn't up for at the time.

If a Wraithlord torso would work with the style of a titan, though, things like that would have a lot more room for creativity.

Another good Lugganath candidate.

SNIP

Your idea swiped viciously from the boards and thrown into my Titan list. :)

As long as you're scrounging ideas for Lugganath, here's some of the Battle Honors from the EA experience system I worked on for a while.  They were in part randomly generated so the internal balance is pretty fast and loose.  They won't all be useful but it should give some food for thought.

ELDAR

Crew Skills:
Bonesingers (titan only) ? May repair holo fields on 4-6 in rally phase.
Lucky - reroll one die per battle (may be taken more than once)
Pinpoint Gunnery - one weapon system causes critical hit on 5+ instead of 6
Fast - +5 cm additional movement, WE may countercharge 10cm when assaulted
Hip Shooting ? WE may double move and shoot without ?1 penalty.

Commander Skills:
Damage Limitation - Invulnerable save
Tactical Genius - may reroll failed activation roll
Seer Commander ? Farsight
Agile ? The War Engine gains +5cm move and may roll armor save against damage from dangerous terrain.

War Engine Upgrades:
Wraithgate - aCrew survives WE destruction on 2+
Turbo Weapon - One system gains Disrupt
Mandi-Blasters/Grenade Packs - WE gains Small Arms, Extra Attacks (+2)
War Cry/ Psychic Conduit - Inspiring
?Dathedi? Holo Field (titan only)? base attacks (DC) gain First Strike

I've already started work on one.. it is easy to convert the flamers into missile laucher systems. Though I'm doing some wierd things with warwalker bits.

Suvarov already thought of doing something like that.

My instinct would be to say that using a Wraithlord as the basis of an Eldar titan would result in a titan that is a good third larger than the SG model.

Hi Neal,

I haven't thought about it with new Wraithlord parts, BUT...

I have DONE it with old Wraithlord parts!

When I find the model, I'll try to snap some shots for you.

I'm thinking about getting my camera primed to take some shots of the 28mm Dollar Store ninjas on my work bench later today.

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

The Phantom/Warlock titans are taller than Warlord titans by a hefty margin.  The top of a Phantom's wings are about even with the banner poles on the back of a Banelord.

I could see that they would be more substantial looking, though.  The Wraithlord seems to have a heavier frame.

I briefly considered this... as another project for the future. So, I would be very interested to see how it all turns out. I also considered using one of the really old Eldar Spirit Walkers as well.. the head would look fine as a Phantom replacement. Then I realise just how much I like the current Phantoms.
