As I hvae already stated somewhere else I has taken the plunge that I should of done when I started this hobby back in the days of yor and I'm collecting a marine army.

I have no idea on what is "right" for background but I don't care. ?They are my boyz and they will have what ever background I give them.

As such they are a successor chapter of mixed geneseed (that does happen right) with them saying their seed comes from the blood angels (SO I can convert and use epic furious dreads and baal preads) and raven guard (because they are cool ?:cool: )

Well enough waffle (for now) ?Here are some WIP pictures

First up my first Tempest


I'm planning on having lots of them since they will be piloted by my scouts (codex Sacrilege ?:p ) and the cockpit helps protect them from the elements.

Next is an Eagles Claw


Otherwise known as a guy with lightming claws. ?He and the others that follow will count as chaplins.

Thirdly we have some good old fashioned termies. ?After making a load of deathwatch termies a while back I only have 16 of these brutes, so they will only be 4 a stand.

first of the termie lot are a couple of dudes with assault cannons


Nothing says "angel of death" like a large rotary cannon ?:laugh:

Next on the termie front is a sergeant with a power sword

*funny comment to follow*

Finally in the termie section (well almost) is a close assault specialist

Armed with a storm shield and a wood axe he strikes fear in a few grots.... every now and then.

Always the best approach IMO!  Take what you want, forget the rest.  

Bend them to your will.  Codex be damned!

BTW, that's some very nice work (who doesn't love a rotary cannon!).  Some very distinctive conversions that will really make them stand out.

And 5 Termies on a stand is WAY too crowded if you ask me.

Woah! That assault cannon looks brutal. Just as it should. I'd hae to face the business end of that one.  :O And the lightning claws are just downright insane!  :cool:

Thanks guys, I am suffering some sort of insanity by wanting to convert all of my termies in some way, but it is a good sort of insanity :D

I'm not too happy with the lightning claws, but he was a test model, next time I'm  going to try to use thin plasticard to make the claws rather than 0.5mm rods.

I found the best way to do them on a power armoured marine is to cut down a fuel pipe from a flamer or something like that. If you cut it down to just 3 ridges and then shave away one side you get something that does the job nicely. can't find any photos or my ones unfortunately.

Well they have been undercoated.  I still haven't decided what colour to do them.  I'm thinking grey blue

I have, however, made the next four terminators.

first off we have a guy with an excessively large glavie thingy


Next with have the stands storm bolter (to get that small arms attack), as a second weapon he is sporting a power hammer


It looks like the power wood axe but it is twice as thick, at 1mm

Thirdly we have a heavy flamer chain fist guy.  I haven't had the corrage to tell him his heavy flamer can't be used in epic


Finally we have the stands heavy weapon trooper.  Armed with a reaper autocannon!
