Post subject:  Supa Stompa vs Slasha Gargant
One day, no doubt many years from now, I'll get round to painting up the Ork mins that I have accumulated.  Amongst other things I have a Great Gargant, a Gargant and one of the old Slasha Gargants.  However, I have no Supa Stompa.

What I'm interested to know is how big the Slasha is compared to the new Supa Stompa, and whether it would make a suitable substitute.  The Slasha is smaller than the normal Gargant, but I don't know how much smaller the Supa Stompa is.

I think that will be ok.  The bonus is that the Slasha has the look of the old plastic Stompas, which are the ones I have.

Wow. I never realized the SupaStompa was so big! Its alot bigger than the ole MekBoy Gargant.

I would have thought that the Supa Stompa would be close closer in size to a Mekboy Gargant. I see I'm wrong.  :D

I can see how you may have been distracted by the shear quantity of green skin that was on my side of the 51K battle, but there was at least one of each of the MekBoy Gargant, Supa Stompa, Slasha Gargant, and Gargant. ?Sadly, none of the pictures really show them off in relation to each other. ?Here are the best two. ?Moscovian's picture is the closest, but there's a Wraithship orbital bombardment template on the Supa Stompa! ?My cruddy picture shows the Supa Stompa just to the left of the smallest boulder.

I didn't notice at that time, probably because it was headed towards Moscovian.  :p

Well as a DC-3 Ork Warmachine it could just have easily been named a Slasha Gargant...

It's more a case of reconning the background (Due to the removal of the Mekboy & Slasha Gargants from the Codex lists) than scale creep IMHO.

Day iz Orksez ... scale creep does not apply ! ?We still will play them by "close enough" by size stats and the collectors' stats for the MegaGargant in the Rules (or Rulez) ... ?We will do the same with the two SM1 & 2 Battleforts ... regardless of what the E:A rulez say ... this comes under our rules - DWWFY ! :;):
