Urban schemes can be a bit tricky IMO as they easily become just grey in grey (very usefull in real life but a bit dull for Wargaming).
Adding a bit of color somewhere to spice them up a bit would probably help: Perhaps teracotta or camo green bitz like shoulder pads or weapons? Or if you feel up to it: In small camo patches on the cloaks?
Alternatively have just tiny dots of very strong color like light green or orangey red to vizors (sp) or weapon scopes and stuff like that.

I think what you could do is use 2 shades of urban camo. dark for the undersuit and light for the plates. I think this will help make them look better from a distance, as it will add some definition, something you don't want in real life.

You could basecoat them white, then dab grey and dark grey on in large patches.  Finish with a black wash.  Something like that.

This is what I'd love to do sometime:

Wow, that is a very cool camo pattern!

Both good points. M/Bolt and J9er8 ... But the problem with 6mm Infantry in Camo, they are so small, that you really can't see it !  I recommend, overall Tac colors, gray, green, tan, brown, etc., and another Tac color for body armor and helmet ...  Say gray Uniform, black armor, light gray helm  ...  Urban camo is more "bland" the most !  Grays, Black, whites ... Works well in RL !

And great site, J9er8, I saved it ... a little brown thrown in there too ! I've seen similar, in other references ... Might be hard to do 6mm Figs.  Maybe dots ?    :D

Dammit, now I have to change my paint scheme again.

Hena: I'm thinking of something similar for my own infantry. ?What did you do? ?Drybrush? ?Wash?

I mostly agree with L4. ?Camo patterns, like so many other things, don't seem to translate to 6mm infantry very well, on first thoughts. ?I think I'd go with Warmaster Nice's idea, though nothing too bright or complementary. :;):

I agree. Actually I like the mini with the most green the best. I don't think it would hurt to add just a bit more green to some of the other models as well :)

Good point, Warmaster. The green gives them a little more, but not too much, color.
