Hey guys I just found this. Ironwind metals is releasing motorized infantry in 6mm. ?These are infantry mounted on bikes, ATVs, hover bikes, etc. I thought they would make excellent subsitute for rough riders and such. ? The link to follow |

The Mechwarrior versions are 10mm scale while these are 6mm, so in theory they are in scale with our Epic minis. I was looking for some "iron" horse rough riders to go with my Mechanized IG army and I think these would work very well. I just wonder of they will be sold as sets or in a mixed blister of different vehicles. |

Primarch The Classic battletch line from Ironwind metals has always been a "6mm" line. ? It was here long before the new 10mm Mechwarrior Collectable, Clicky, plastic, junk from Wizkids. ( I think I just showed my bias ? ) ?The proplem is they have never had good quality control over their scupltors and have never cared about consistancy in their miniature line. As such many of their minis vary from good fit to way to big for 6mm. Their standard infantry fits in nicely with GW infantry, so I imgaine these would work well. ? Or I hope. |

Ask and you will receive The "Standard infantry can be found here. ?Most of it is Battle armor. ?(Imgaine Terminators type suits here). IW Infantry THE DRM infantry is the best quality but these may work for variety and such. They don't have a listing for their new morotized stuff yet. These infantry are definitely bigger than Epic troops. They are even bigger than GZG. I posted a picture in the "Ogryn proxies" thread, where you can see that they are about as tall as the Ogryn model on the 2nd Ed. IG sprue. I should add that those Davion troops were bought in Ral Partha Battletech blisters. |
