Hi all,
this has dragged too long - I must really finish off my CI conversion. But I have some bad news. My aim was to finish it off with commonly available bits. I'm afraid this has stunted my progress drastically. So I'll now finish it off with all sorts of odds and ends. Nothing critical to its structure, though, so you'll still be able to follow the general trend.
WARNING - weirdness to be expected.  :p

And I still have to decide who to assign it to - the IG, the Polar Warrior or Angels of Fire SMs, the Inquisition or the Ad Mech......

Ad Mech? I AM tempted, but I have so many weird beasties built or planned for these that I might let someone else have the CI...

And here's the first new addition. The 'extra armour', with the bits making it up seen in a pile near the CI, comes from a pair of old Wild West fort models bought dirt cheap from a jumble sale.  :D

The CI is such a commanding piece.  Should it not be giving it's own unique color scheme?

Therefore, it could be "loaned out" to whatever army currently has need of it.  

If anything, I would say assign it to the Ad Mech.  They seem more likely to do the loaning than to need to have it loaned to them.

I think it would be great if these "extra armor" bits had small gun turrets mounted on top of theur center part.

It would bring the scale of the vehicle to life as well as adding many cool guns.  Plastic turrets from BFG make workk well here.

Excellent preview CC - that's my exact intention - although not sure I'll use BFG stuff - a bit small scalewise, and I don't have enough!  :D
