Hi all, something happened at quarter to three in the afternoon yesterday: I suddenly decided I need a new complete Epic army, all 3000 points of it. Soon. Can't understand the rush, seeing there's no chance of a game before September (more later!).. but I decided to work on the fastest army possibly BARRING titan/gargant ones: an SM armour force INCLUDING a titan. The nitty gritty are in my workstation thread in general wargames modelling. Over here you'll get the results. And progress, or lack of: since finding all the bits and pieces yesterday, I assembled the Whirlies, 2 Land Raiders and the Reaver titan - all the others had been assembled previously - and drilled out Vindicator gun bores. I undercoated Mr. Reaver today - still to decide which Legio he goes to: I currently have Legio Mechanatos and Goliath titans - will he join one of these, or start a third? Meanwhile, a couple of stunt Rhinos have been volunteered as colour test models. Poor things... luckily for them, I think I already know what colours the Polar Warriors will wear. |

(bans @ Aug. 07 2006,22:26) QUOTE Maybe you can ad black marines with red helmet to your goliaths legions? bans Heh - those are reserved for the future, Bans I'm planning a mostly troop-oriented chapter for these, with Titans with Corvus pods and a CI and lots of other not-quite-in-line-with-the-lists stuff. As I'm enjoying a blue phase, which I'll be applying to the vehicles, here's the stunt Rhino negotiating difficult terrain.... |
