I started building models since I was about 10 years old. Cars, tanks, planes, Infantry, etc. That was like over 55yrs ago ! So do anything long enough you get good at it or at least better ...

I think another thing is I really started doing military models in about 8th grade. Then was in the Army Infantry for over a decade. So, I have a good working knowledge and idea of what military vehicles, aircraft and Grunts look like ...
