Some of my new Necron terrain. Some are just up graded a bit. I used to flock much of my terrain pieces. But I started to use Woodland Scenic's Liquid Pigment Earth Tones. A tan, a gray slate and earth brown. It's like a thick wash. Looks more like real terrain. Base painting the original models with spray - Black or Tan. The next day just blended the colors. Of course, I use Clear Flat spray to seal it. And the bases I had a buddy make, and I copied then using an Alumilite Resin kit found in craft stores. I'm going to use these for Necron Terrain or Objectives. My other buddy made some Epic scale Scarabs. I sanded the base off and then painted then glued on. Also has some Alumlite pieces with little skulls on them. Cut them off and use them for Necron heads ...
