Hi all! I've made a little progress in starting my Squat army for Epic, so thought it was time to post a few pics.

First up is the reason for starting the army in the first place - Onslaught's wonderful Land Train (along with the first few paint-test minis) :

Finally finished my first warrior brotherhood - so boring to paint XD :

Thudd-guns, again from Onslaught Miniatures - I've always thought the plastic ones were too big :

I've also put together an Overlord Airship from a couple of Dystopian Wars models :

The force so far (not sure what happened to the colour-balance in this pic XD) :

They look great. What did you do for the basing?

I must agree - really great work, and the Overlord is outstanding.

Cheers for the kind words all!

The cracking effect comes from GW's 'Agrellan Earth' technical paint, washed with Seraphim Sepia, then drybrushed Jokaero Orange and Eldar Flesh.

yeah really nice look. you may want to carefully apply some thin clear polyurethane over the technical paint (will require another shot of dullcoat after). I've had it come up off the base before and wears easily if not careful. Found the extra protection was well worth the effort, especially worth it on such fine minis.

They look fantastic! Really seamless between the classic minis and the new Land Train.

And love the muted, earthy colour scheme too!
