Yup, I used an airbrush since starting the Eldar 2+ years ago. It really speeds up the bases and the base coats. The only other thing I use it for is clear coating. |

Looking good! I'm in the same place regarding the airbrush as I really need to speed up vehicle painting. The hassle of cleaning it, and finding a suitable environment to airbrush in has put me off so far. Is that Supremacy print A Tuna? Where's the gun upgrade from? |

Not a-tuna but an STL that is already scaled to 6mm. |

I'll try and base them up and get an undercoat on them over the next few days. I have four days off work so I'm hoping to be productive and make some headway into the giga-pile of Tau. |

Nice army! I'm currently working on a large Tau army myself. How many points will your force be out of curiosity? If I can pick up some missing units I'm planning around 9-10k points myself. You're probably well sorted already but I'll have some spare forum Fire Warriors and Pathfinders with Rail Rifles if you want either. |

I just hoarded what I could from eBay purchases for years and then got to a point when I could no longer procrastinate. I'm sure it'll be well over 15K when done. It'll take me years to finish. Unfortunately a decent amount of the routine units have been basecoated in Tau Ochre (Hammerheads, Devilfish, Tetras, Piranhas, Mantas). I have a bout 100 stands worth of Forgeworld infantry but I am in need of Broadsides and Ghost Keels, or decent STLs I can print from. |

Those look good, makes me want to rummage through my stores to find my stock of Tau and get painting them. But the thought of having to clean the surfaces and the brittleness puts me off. I'm trying to make an armoured army only |

Love that idea! I'd steal it if I actually use mine to play. Also unfortunately mine breaks before they even get onto the stand |

Yeah that happens to me too. It is mostly possible to repair them if their legs snap if you're careful - I've done so to around 20 kroot. They'll be even more fragile now, but hopefully I won't touch them again, bar with a paint brush. |
