So it looks like I am getting back into epic via the avenue of Adeptus Titanicus (yay!) Though I am now regretting selling off all my epic stuff a few years ago(boo!).

Whilst I wait for my I'll gotten gains from eBay to arrive (snagged a mastadon and a trio of falchions) I've been finishing off my Warlord. Well, I say finishing, it still needs transfers etc but I'm not sure whether to get some printed (perhaps using the bols sheet for Metalica) or whether to bite the bullet and just freehand the lot.

Anyway! Enough ramble, here is my first step back into the world of 6(or 8)mm! The Warlord Titan Mors Incarnadine of Legio Metalica.

I'm not sure how interested people will be in the fluff/background for the army but I do have a, quite extensive, background written that I can include with the units as I do them if it is something people would be interested in reading?

The Mastadon was listed as 6-8mm but the Falchions just said 6mm. I guess I'll find out when they arrive :)

Stompy robots are the best kind of robots! I will start adding the background in with the next lot of pics then :)

The forges have not been quiet (despite a short break to Spain). My Axiom Maniple approaches completion:

Mors Incarnadine is now joined by the Reaver Victorious Endeavour and the Warhounds Borophagus and Aelurodon. The final Reaver Hastati Lux is almost ready and I will get proper pictures and their fluff once they're all together.

Once the last Reaver is done I have 3 Knights to paint up and then its on to my Epic stuff, I've managed to get my hands on 3 Fellblades, 3 Glaives, a Mastodon, a Rhino and a Land Raider Proteus. I also managed to win one of the old FW defence lines

My Epic forces lack infantry at the moment, I'm keeping my eye on eBay etc for some of the lovely MkIII tactical and Breacher squads I've seen knocking about so once I've got some I can start my army proper. In the meantime I am going to work on my allied militia army, the 208th Praetorian Infantry, I quickly threw together a test base last night:

I've been working on some 28mm counterparts to these and painting these guys was definitely quicker! now to do another 7 bases worth!

I managed to get a slightly better shot of the infantry, Getting good shots at 6mm is hard, I may need to swap back to a proper camera to get some better pictures

Half an infantry company of Praetorian Guard along with three Stormblades
