I never got around to painting up an Avatar for my Exodites. Since Avatars are tied to Craftworlds, I was thinking I'd go with something else. Current solution is a GW Dryad, but it's a bit 'Wood Elf'. I can't think why... So another thought is to use Isha - The Eldar Goddess of the harvest, fertility, life, healing and growth and the mother of the Eldar race. Not very 'fighty' but perhaps she could be pursuaded to pick up arms in defence of her children. http://warhammer40k.wikia.com/wiki/Isha Anyone got suggestions for a suitable proxy? Ideally she will have moth / butterfly wings Ariel, her avatar in the Warhammer Fantasy universe has: http://warhammerfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Ariel Some kind of warrior fairy, nymph, sylph. 10mm - 20mm would be ideal. I don't want anything lumpy or basic - Irregular springs to mind. Yeah, it's not bad for 3DC. That Queen of the Fairies is quite nice - my other half would certainly rip it out of me for having bare boob miniatures though. |

If recent games have taught us anything, it's that you don't need an avatar mini anyway  Spellweaver and your find are more dynamic but Dave's fits the less fighty theme better, and that mini could look very different with a different paint job |

I think you hit the nail on the head when you suggested the Avatar never got out because he isn't painted. And it's understandable - I would't walk out of the house with no clothes on
