Post subject:  A New Beginning
I’ve been playing Epic on and off for quite some time, but the last bunch of years have been way more off than on. But now I and my main opponent has decided to get active with it again and that means new painting log.

To kick this off I decided to start a Skitarii army, and I’m waiting for an order from Vanguard to arrive before I can get started on those.

I also volunteered to build and paint a Thousand Son’s army for an old friend who games with us sometimes. So far I’m mostly experimenting so it’s a bit rough at the moment but they will get cleaned up before I’m done with them. It’s been quite some time since I painted anything besides 75mm miniatures and busts so I need some practice.

Here are the first 4 Terminator stands:

I started testing some basing on an almost finished base of Terminators, it feels like something is missing on it but not sure what.

I got my Vanguard order (and made a new one lol) so I've built 10 units for the Skitarii but I have to wait for the temperature to drop some before priming it. Also checking what can be 3D printed for the armies, seems to be quite a lot of it available.

could add some ground scatter to give another type of plant life to the base. Perhaps bringing up a few spots with a very light drybrush of bone and in another area dead flesh might give some more pop.

regardless it's a nice looking stand

Been quite busy painting away, 9 stands of Terminators (just need to command stands for them now), Neophytes using Onslaught Avians, some Rhinos and Flamers.

I've also finished painting 5 Predators, 4 Deceivers, a bunch of Screamers, 4 Land Raiders and 8 Dreads, so next up will be basing all of those.

After that, it's building and priming the Marines that I expect will arrive on Monday from Vanguard.

Couldn't sleep last night so I finished a bunch of other units. Painted much faster so not as good looking but it will do.
