Hello people.

Let me introduce myself a bit: Julien, 37 years old, French (may be a monkey but I won't surrender), in love with GW since 1993. To be CLEAR, I'm more of a builder and a painter than a player (although I had my first game last week end and I particularly enjoyed it)

My army now:
I always wanted to build myself a Titan Legion. Ever since I was a boy looking enviousl and droolling et the pics on White Dwarf. Now I'm old(er), and I was recently reacquainted with the Epic size, and I tought " Gosh I have tens of Titans sleeping in my attic, may be it would be a good idea to dust them off and actually make something interesting of them.
First was the choice of the Legion, Warprunners? No way José, everybody does this legion now, most far better than I could ever paint. So I went for my favorite Legion (by name and fluff): the Legio Metalica.

So I gathered evrything I had and began building and . Obviuosly this is all gonna be Old School figures (that's all I have and these are the figures I favour most) but I'll try a more "modern" paintscheme.... ( How trustfull am I...)

The back on these pics is appaling I know. It'll change next time.


The army as is (for now)



None is, yet, completely finished, I still have lots of Warlords (7), Reavers (3), Warhounds (2) and even another Imperator to finish building/converting.

The other Reaver, « Pugna » (Battery) is currently being stripped..

And yes as you've all spotted All of my Titans will have names coming from Metallica songs ( the Latin Translation is sometimes difficult so I tried to be truthfull the the spirit of the song at least.




So you know that the legio is more advanced

Then I'm not gonna waste more time and show what took me two weeks right now.




Some Thunderbolts. I was tempted at the beginning to paint them like F14 Tomcat Jolly Rogers But I found some red would work better, ties them to the army and give them a little Star Wars look (which is always a good thing).




The 3000pts FERC army

Still a mega blaster Vulcan is missing on "Pugna" and some objective markers.





And everything I built.

As you can see Old School ( The Mk3 Warlord won't be used in this army.
