OK I painted both of the Chaos Warhounds in Legio Vulcanum I colours and based them in the same way as the rest of the army.

They look really good considering it took almost no time at all.

Undercoat black. base coat the whole model in a copper reddish colour. use red ink to fill in the areas I want the titan to look metallic red (lots of thin coats), use the black ink in the same manner on the legs, and areas like the vents engine cowling and weapons (just use less coats of ink if I just want the engine grill to look shaded). paint in the eyes/cockpit glass, then base. Hardest part was making sure the areas like the trimming and edges did not get any ink on it, as I wanted it to stay the base colour.

I painted the 2 other Warhounds. These are proxies from Vanguard minis - Feral walkers from the Cybershadow range. They take a lot to put together, because the pistons on their legs have to be inserted into holes, and these have to be pin vice drilled by hand in order to get the feet to sit in the correct angle.

I decided to paint them in the same colour scheme, and added the hand painted Chaos symbol on top.

The legs are a lot more pose-able, however it takes a long time to get them so they do not fall over. Pinning helps a lot. They are true scale, as is the other pair I painted.

Here is a photo of the current painted force for my Vraksians.

I will be getting more Titans, a tank company, and some upgrades for the formations done later.

There is over 10,000 points of painted forces there. Yay getting closer to finishing them off.

My camera always screws me over. Maybe it is the flash but those war hounds are super shiny!

Flash and I used an Ink, and have not dull coat Varnished them yet. Unfortunately their load out is pretty poor. each gets a Vulcan Mega-Bolter and an Inferno Gun. I would love d to have been able to take a Plasma Blast Gun or a Turbo Laser Destructor.

The list has an obvious lack of TK and MW options. Where you do get MW (TK) or TK weapons, they are only available in 3 vehicle squadrons which are easily broken, and then destroyed because those formations are not fearless.

I suppose they are another formation, that will take the enemy time to kill off, and can put out enough damage to non titan units/ formations.

I still love the army, as it goes well with my other Chaos Army - Emperor's Children.

Oh look my jackal's cool, I guess you would have a hard time getting your titans to balance on those narrow bases i've always used 70mm round bases for my true scale titans gives them great stability and plenty of area to pose them. Agree the feet pistons on my models are a bit fiddly but can be worth the effort and I always pin titans together no matter what including to the base. The pistons can be left of if you wish i've seen it done on another customers model it looks ok without.

By the way totally forgot to message you about your order sorry which was shipped friday many thanks John
