nah, never made more and didn't paint it … not even sure where it is now. When I made it i had no other tau minis. Now i've collected the rest of the army except battle suits, so there's a gap to be filled, but tay arn't high on my priorities atm. Will you be going for an army/formation's worth? McJakub – styrene sheet. you can get it in various thicknesses. Can't speed for Lextar but mine was built from 1mm HIPS and the lid of an ice cream tub for the thin plastic. |

Left over plastic from other projects. I have a collection of square and circle rods of various thickness. Its an easy project as all mine are easy pieces, but having the square rods help with the arms and legs. Orks are my current priority, this was a needed change but yeah planning more. Three new ones made at the same time over three sittings. Posed to stand back to back against overwhelming odds. The hex bases although hard to get right is better than using a circle cutter. Attachment:

Wow, great work! Do you use any plans or templates to build these or do you just kinda eyeball it? In case you do have plans/templates, would you be willing to share them or maybe do a tutorial? |
