The Cultists are fantastic, and the Sisters look to be reaching for the same heights, very impressive. Thanks for showing and welcome home!

Well, I've finally finished my infantry! Big hurdle for me - I love painting these models, but there's so much detail to paint it takes a flippin' long time. I took a couple of photos - more proof of progress than to show off the painting. I'll get a decent camera out when I've finished everything; I have about 24 tanks to do. I'm thinking each one will take about the same time as 5 infantry, so... Next update in 2018!!

Here are some phone camera photos taken in bad light. Think I need to go back and work some more on the Living Saint. What a model though! Such great proportions at this scale.

Congrats on getting them done! it's always a bit of a relief when you get the infantry done for an army.

Thanks! A relief for sure. I have taken 30 minutes per strip of 5 to do the main coats (base red, base gun metal, base wolf grey). Probably not much less for other colours, let's say it evens out to 20 minutes per colour, with a total of 10 colours. Add a few hours for the characters - that makes 45+ hours for 8 stands of infantry. Excluding time spent admiring my work, zoning out and contemplating my navel.

Still - at least I have got value for money out of my minis!

Nice work on the saint it's the only figure from my set that got painted still have the rest in their box, just no time to build them never mind paint them which is a shame as they are wonderful sculpts.

Anyway great work here yes sir.

It's been a while since I updated this thread, so nine months later, here's... A tank! Test paint for my SoB vehicles. Not bad, I need to improve the transition between blacks and figure out a strategy for the tracks, but overall I think I'm at least marching time and not going backwards with the quality.

I have a little bit of hobby time for now, so the production line for the rest of the tanks has started (22 of them). Then it's onto basing!

Beautiful! I've never seen fanware with a detailed front like that!

Black armour like that is very hard to paint.
