Thanks everyone!

@Doomkitten: For the blues, I start with a standard highlight paintjob: Regal Blue -> Ultramarines Blue -> Enchanted Blue -> Hawk Turquoise -> Ice Blue. For the planes I used a bit more Hawk Turquoise and a bit less Ultramarines than on the other models. Then the weathering, which goes over the whole model indiscriminately. It's done with a variety of brushes, most of them really old and ratty with very splayed bristles. Each one gives a subtly different effect and I switch between them pretty much at random. I start with Leadbelcher, giving some areas a light drydrush and others some heavy streaks of pure paint (the splayed bristles help a lot with this). Then Tin Bitz, which gets some light drybrushing, some heavy drybrushing, and some blotting. After that comes P3 Bloodtracker Brown which gets applied however I'm feeling it, sometime drybrushing, sometimes streaking, blotting, or light stippling. Then a light spot wash with Seraphim Sepia. Finally I do a few small highlights with Mithral Silver to bring out the sense of bare metal. On the ground mechs I also do some heavy blotting with Typhus Corrosion, but I skipped that on the flyers, figuring they'd have gotten less mud on them.
(All paints are GW unless noted, although they're not all current GW line)

I think the lancer may work out to be a bit too large. Have you considered using only one wheel?

Thanks y'all!

@LeCactt: It's a bit big, but in general my knights are pretty big; several of the castellans and the wardens are about the same. Using half a bike with only one wheel is a pretty good idea. I'll look into whether it could work with the next one I build.

Whenever I browse an Ork topic that pleases me I end up mumbling "ere we go ere we go ere we go" to myself in approval.

Awesome models once again.

Whilst I really like the Baron and the Lancer, they don't feel like 6mm scaled models to me, there's something about the details and the way the parts are used that make the models feel more like 28mm scaled scrap bots rather than gigantic 6mm scaled machines.

Really nice - I love seeing those walkers being done up as I am planning on using them as normal Stompas in the future.
