Well, I finally finished my first unit of EpicA minis. It's a Tactical Detachment with a Dreadnought, and two stands of characters (that were painted first as test minis because they're extra stands I have).
They're going to be part of the mixed-legion force I am building. The next Tactical Detachment will be painted as Death Guard, so same white armor but with green shoulders and gold trim, and black weapons. I'll add in some Devastators, also in Luna Wolves and Death Guard, and I'll paint the Assault Detachment and Bike Detachment as World Eaters. Land Speeders, not sure yet. Predators, not sure yet. Terminators will probably be Luna Wolves.

All I did to paint them was a white spray primer, a wash of black ink, painted black trim on shoulder pads and knees, red panel on weapons, silver on magazines and gun barrels, and red as an accent on sergeants and characters. Super simple paint scheme, painted the whole detachment in one evening, and based them using Vallejo Dark Earth in an evening, painted the bases and varnished them the next morning.
