Hey!
I'm looking for an idea for a paint scheme for a reasonably vanilla, tank light Imperial Guard force.

I have a red robes +blue shiny on yellow chem desert Ad-Mech force, and a green+flame on grey urban speed freaks army.
I intend for my sisters force to be cream and blue on pale ice to match my 40k ones.

The models are the infantry from the Defeat in detail sprue, so very skinny and need a very high contrast scheme to be visible. There's a few APCs, including hydras and a single superheavy tank. I'm thinking of mounting them on mountainous hex bases. Any good, different, colour scheme suggestions?

Steel legion with buff coats and dark grey helmets always looks good I think. Another option I'm using for my siege IG is the French ww1 inspired blue. Doesn't get more vanilla than that. :)
