I should introduce the gaming surface I'm using - cheap, lightweight and easy to store cork tiles.

Hey don't discount hand undercoating! I know it can be a pain but I use Vallejo surface primer and it does a great job.

Haven't found it locally yet, and forsome reason I always hesitated ordering paint from abroad.
Can't see why, actually, now that I think of it....!

I know of several people who have ordered aerosols and had them confiscated in the post, the last one was a couple of tins of spray glue!

Wonder of wonders, the project has not stalled - athough I couldn't resist painting up (in a very simple scheme, which seemed towork) four of the Sunz of the Desert's enemies... and a single Spleenrippa from a previous project, which fits in with the Sunz.
