Hi all,

Looking for ideas for small rockets for the backs of minis to convert to stormboyz.

I have seen Daves on here using Battlemech bits, but I don't want to order minis just to cannibalize
and especially not from America.

Also not sure how many stands I am going to make it may be a good few so don't fancy green stuffing
the things.

Been looking on the web but cant see much, also don't want to use the 40K epic ones as I am not
to keen on the double tank, I want a decent sized single rocket if that make sense.

Any ideas appreciated folks

It'd be fiddly and time consuming but maybe make something out of plasticard? Get a plastic rod of appropriate thickness, cut it to size, shave or file down one end to a point. Maybe use a very thin saw to cut two lines at 90 degrees to each other in the underside then cut fins from thin plasticard and glue them in.

For extra coolness have flame and smoke blasting out of the rockets packs, launching them up in the air. Have the orks be up in the air, individually held aloft from the base by wire pins with glued on sand and wire wool painted up as flames and smoke.

Just some small round sprue. 2 pieces cut to the same length glued side by side ... I used the old banner pole bases and a bit of sprue to make these SM jump packs. So you could do similar, without using the banner pole bases.

Another two options I have looked into, Golf tees I remember those been pointy on the end and I could chop of the pointy end and
you can buy wooden or plastic ones very cheaply but cant remember how big they are ?

Also found a website selling 6mm metal micro armies the also sell spare bits and add ons for the planes
such as bombs, torpedoes, and extra fuel tanks but as with some of these companys no pictures
and don't want to buy blind.
