Well I abandoned my idea to try and make this transform, but sticking to the tank design. Making slow progress.

Was thinking of building this for my Ork Boss, but think I may be just over the top a bit. http://lexcore.weebly.com/home/ork-mega-insane-boss Inspired from the 40k transformer style ork vehicles, I thought I'd try it in epic, but need ball joints to make it more doable so the arms/shoulders move better. Anyone tried something similar and can give me any tips? |

Will be trying to orkify it of course:) but think getting it to transform may be a bit amitious at the moment. Google Orktimus Prime and this is what I was attempting and what inspired me. |

Some sort of textured plastic card cut so thin that it bent around the tube without too much warping. Think its called diamond tread. |

Work so far. Not sure if I want to add anything more or just leave it as is. I made the turret so high so the ork boss can stand inside it, hence lost the low profile of the original concept
