Hi,

Tonight I started magnetising my Titans/weapons - then got side tracked in my bitz box...

I figured the smaller "Spartan/Firestorm space base" landing port bit had a great carapace landing pad proxy, then after that i started thinking about representing the "Recon Land speeder"

I reckon rather than it being a full size attack style vehicle it could be a smaller, single seater, almost jet-bike like craft, with some comms kit and a melta gun.

And then that got me thinking - this could also double as Sammael, Master of the Ravenwing (should i ever get round to painting a ravenwing company!)

What do you guys think - wings or no wings, and if wings, then up or flat?!

Apologies for the focusing on some of the photos - iPhone seems determined to pick up the grain of the paper background rather than the model!

With Wings and if it's landed, wings up ala Imperial Shuttle. That said, COOL!

This is looking great!
I've been looking for something to use as a Carapace Landing Pad and I really like yours!

Any chance you could point me in the direction of where you got it? I can't seem to find it on the Spartan website.

Cheers folks, will play around with a few more bitz before deciding/gluing !

the landing pad is from this set > http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Spartan-Games ... 51c694ecd7

seems to be off the Spartan site now - not sure if they have discontinued it, the parts are quite small, but the pads etc work great for 6mm - i've made some objective markers using other bits and they also turned out well.

That looks great. Wings flat for flight mode.
