Hi Everyone.

I've been gone forever and now have a huge backlog to document on here. I haven't been idle but I haven't done as much as I would have hoped. Mostly building rather than painting, but its something. Watch this space this week as I'll be updating as I take the pictures.

Today's post is Sons of Horus Spartan Assault Tanks, two sets of two.





This pair have broken through the ruins and are ready to deliver death! The next two are mopping up an Imperial Fist trench network.











All my Sons of Horus formations are mounted on dioramic bases (i.e. they fit together to create a scene).

PS: I seem to be having some issues with focusing on more than very specific points on my minis, anyone know how to fix this? (DSLR but I'm a noob)

Hey everyone,

Apologies for the double post but I have some backlog to fulfill so I thought I'd post two sets in one to make up for it. Next update maybe tomorrow.

First up we have a tactical formation with a heavy support upgrade, a total of 12 stands of marines. The command stand has been converted to appear as the 28mm scale Forgeworld Sons of Horus Legion Command and will act as either a Lieutenant Commander or SC.









Here's the reference image I worked the conversions to:



To fulfill my backlog I am also going to post my converted Rapier Weapon Battery formation. 6 Thunderfire Cannons (5 plus a purely cosmetic command stand) in an advantageous high ground position.











Accidental ammunition slip-up, that man should be flogged! Here's a closer look at the central command stand & temporary ammunition dump (yes that marine is hauling an ammunition pallet).
