I was thinking of putting Animal pelt patterns on the legs of some of them, but at this scale, it is a little too much to try, and I have a minigeddon tournament to quickly batch paint 3 formations up for.
I decided to use a bright fluro colour on the leg of each formation. Bright Yellow, Bright Green and Bright Orange.
I can look at painting more intricate stuff later on.
After seeing what I thought were pilot and gunner domes on the Jumo APCs, I realize now that they are actually skulls. I will have to add the eyes and other details on them later on.
I have painted the Fulgrim Daemon Primarch.
With the 15% off discount voucher for Vanguard minis I got from the Castle Assault tournament, I could really put a dent in some of the things I need to finish some of my armies.
My minigeddon force is :
Daemon Prince with Wings leading a Retinue with 4 Noise Marine units, and a Chaos marine unit, 3 Rhino APCs - 355 points. The second Formation is 6 Noise Marines, 2 Rhino APCs, and a Landraider - 395 points, and the 3rd Formation is a Subjugator Scout Titan - 250 points.
The Noise Marines, the Daemon Prince and the Titan are all fearless. The whole force is quite mobile with transports, wings or a move of about 30cm. There are lots of Disrupt weapons, and between the Daemon Prince and the Titan a good amount of Macro Weapons for a 1000 point list.
I think there are going to be armies from the Cadian Shock list, Tau, Tyranids, Adeptus Sororitus, Vanilla Marines and my Emperor's Children. There may be more, but I will have to see on the day.
