Thanks everyone!

The cauldron is the back half of a 40k tank searchlight, as found on the Leman Russ and possibly the Chimera as well.

Construction almost finished. I've added some small arms mounts to help represent the 6 FF dice and to break up the blank sides a little.

While the mount for the bell is now done and magnetised due to the carry case being too short...

The top column will be a chimney with some smoke coming out of the top, probably just some cotton wool.

All very impressive - the more gubbins or drooping, dripping pipes and things you can add to it the better!

Ta and ta!

After a bit of a break due to various reasons...

At Salute I picked up some 15mm demons from Magister Militum, hoping they'd make good Bloodletter proxies. With a Bloodletter, Assault Marine, 25mm ply disc and Chaos Havok stand for scale:

They're not ideal but they're OK and at £3 for eight figures the price is right.

From the same range, four winged demons for use as Furies stands, £3 for 4 this time. These would almost make good Bloodthirster proxies, especially if you stuck 2-3 to a larger base:

I was also after some Pendrakon worms but they weren't in stock at the show - however Pendrakon very kindly offered to send the models post-free if I paid on the day. With a Plaguebearer, Beast of Nurgle (on 25mm disc), Assault Marine and Havoks for scale:

The obvious unit for these to proxy for would be Beasts of Nurgle (to add to the existing ten or so), although Chaos Spawn would also fit. Anyway, that's a massive boost towards being able to field a 3k Daemonic Incursion list using viewtopic.php?f=82&t=23785

I also picked up another set of track units from Zinge on the grounds that I'll want another Plague Tower at some point.

This weekend, however, was the local show of Legionary in Exeter.Clockwork Goblin were there (I'd missed them at Salute) which was handy as I'd wanted a look at their alternative WW2 15mm range in the flesh. With my plans to run a big siege game towards the end of the year these little turrets (designed to fit 1/72 plastic tanks) caught my eye:

They'll make perfect Void Shield Generator installations when mounted on some small bunkers. Scenario-wise they would block the arrival of teleporting troops anywhere within the walls of the fortification, so a secondary objective for the game can be to send aircraft, skimmers etc. to take out those bunkers before a swarm of Daemons, Terminators and Plague Zombies can arrive.

Yeah, reasonably priced as well, the whole set of 13 worms came to £5.85! I'll have to dig out all the item URLs and do a blog post...

I restarted work on the Plaguelord Titan. :geek

The body of a Cryx Warjack of some description, tracks from Zinge Industries (the same ones as on the Plague Tower), a 'skirt' of Tyranid Carnifex plates and bits from all over the place...

The underside, showing everything attached to the Heavy Bolter - I needed a big chunk of plastic to glue stuff to:

Without guns:

Main guns, made from Land Speeder Assault Cannon attachments, Tyranid gun barrels and yet more Chaos Vehicle Gun gargoyle heads:

There are magnets in the middle of the 'shoulder' mounts so the main guns sit underneath:

You can then fit old Warlord guns on top, although it does start looking cluttered. Note that the banner pole is magnetised so that it can be swapped for a Hunter turret - I'm thinking ahead to possible use as an Epic UK AMTL list where this will make a perfect Carapace Multilaser turret.

After the Plague Tower ended up so big, it looks a bit small for 9DC, on the other hand it's about the right bulk for a Warlord equivalent when seen next to a Warhound and a Baneblade equivalent.
