How do people base their IG fire support teams? One or two autocannons per stand? I can't find any pics, barring a post in the middle of Vanguard's mega-thread.

For my IG army, I differentiate the support stands
by adding two autocannons per base. Nice and simple.

I haven't actually assembled any of my IG infantry, but when I do the plan is to have normal infantry with either one or no Autocannon per stand and fire support teams with two per stand.

Also strip vs rounds/squares is another easy methodology

Round base, one Troublemaker gun with dude (one miniature) plus two loaders/spotters.

Very nice, I have just changed over all mine to round bases and prefer them to my old rectangular
ones now. Great paintwork and nice basing on that mini ;)

Two per base to distinguish them from regular infantry which has zero to one.

Heh! I guess 'steel legion' was the qualifier for google.

Ta folks. I'm inclined to go with one on a round base, especially with changing to rounds like Epic (the poster) but it might not hurt to put in an extra order to one of the small guys.

Rounds, especially TMG style, are excellent for scenic basing. They've got enough space to easily place sandbags and ammo crates on them to help make it obvious.
