I have been using Pendraken minis to supply me with 2mm bases (warmaster size and 40mm for larger round bases) and though the bases are excellent, they are rather slow to be delivered. Has any one got any recommendation for similar style bases, but from some where that I wont have to wait over a month for! (as great as the minis were from pendraken, I dont want to have to wait so long just for bases!)

Im after round 25mm bases to rebase my orcs. (they are currently based on the English 2p 20mm style base which is defiantly not a 2p, but something completely else! :-X )

Im also after some dead style static grass (similar to the stuff used by Borka on his awesome orcs ) Image

I have found plenty of suppliers online, but again I don't know where is a good place to order from, some places only seem to offer larger scale grass (similar to GW dead grass) and I presume that will look too larger against my itty bitty orcs ( I could just use GW dead grass, but I would pretty much like to wash my hands of purchasing anything from them!)

Given the disbandment of SG at GW, I am having to condense my non-finished projects, which means condensing my WIP of 2 orc armies, so instead of both a urban death snow world & separate forest world orcs, I have to stick to just one. Dead grass will allow me to blend in stuff finished with the death world scheme into the forest scheme with out going mad!

Fenris Games should be able help with your bases. They'll even do custom cuts if you need them.

Not sure if there's an exact match but I've had good results with army painter grass (granted I got kicked down an ass load of it so that could have colored my perception of it :) ). I have in the past simply taken cuticle scissors to grass tuff that I've felt were too long so my take away being don't get too caught up on length vs diameter.

Have a look at Antenocitis workshop for 2mm static grass.

I have several of their Decorplus tubs of the stuff, and it usually shows if it's instock on the site.

Definitely Fenris Games for bases. They have a selection of bases for 6mm games with precut holes in them, and like mentioned above if you don't want round/square/rectangle they will happily make some up in different shapes.

Just checked out Fenris Games and it is somewhat costly for the rectangle bases, but they do look to be high quality.
