The quest for perfect gaming is never doomed. It's the journey not the destination. I will enjoy the progress. |

Small update - the first 14 bits are done. These are low detail, hence my description of these as part of an architect's model type setting. Working on another 20 or so bits. I have the board, I have the buildings, I have the troops - I have enough painted stuff, just for once - but I don;t have the kaiju! Argh! I want something which is not too GW in appearance, so no nids or lizardmen (although the nids are great smaller scale adversaries for the military in this sort of game). And my only dinosaury beast is a skeleton - not good (would be nice if I had a fleshed out model and used the skeleton as a post-death-rayed-kaiju). I have a man-in-a-rubber-suit type monster, painted too, but I have no idea where he's stored. Argh. And I own a giant robot, but still needs tonnes of conversion work and he's far too big anyway, larger than a 28mm scale Ork Stompa. I need to go through some toy stores... |

Toy Shops? A reasonable looking monster could be picked up cheap from one of those |

Thanks - and it's not dead (so far) - in fact I managed to rustle up a few older bits and complete some new ones. The tally stands at 30 small to large scenery bits so far, with another 20 or so to go. Pics to be added by tomorrow, I hope. |
