Hi!

I haven't been posting about my painting or terrain projects because there has not been any! No time..

But now I finally was able to pinch an hour here and there and try to make some flexible caulk roads. Also I have done some 40mm infantry bases for epic which I molded and casted finally.

Why 40mm one might ask, and the answer is that just because I want to add scenic features into them and have some space between the minis. Mostly I will use 40 mm with larger inf. Such as terminators and smaller bases with regulars.

Working with the roads was fun. Caulk is messy but easy to work with. I will do a lot more roads and also other terrain from it soon.

I might do a tutorial of making the roads if it's something people want.

The roads are 5cm wide and around 2mm thick. They don't crack and nothing falls off from the surface. I will matt varnish them to get rid off the sheen on some of them.

yea.. Tapatalk sucks.. I d-loaded them to interweb and linked from there... now they work. A bit largish but no time to adjust now.

When I make more bases I can do a tutorial. If someone is interested of these bases send me PM.

Here's a shot of all finished road sections laid on a desert terrain mat. Not the best theme for dirt roads :p but you get the idea.

I'd love a tutorial on the roads too. Just seeing how you built them would be really interesting.

If I had the spare cash I'd definitely go for some, but at the moment all my hobby budget has been going to the minis themselves and I've been custom making the bases to save for more minis.
