Post subject:  Will paints survive below freezing temperatures?

Hi!

Its been awhile since I last posted, but I still lurk around from time to time. the forums are great as ever, especially the painting sections!

At the moment I have a problem: I have plans to leave some paints at our country house, as I have been doing some painting there. In fact much hobbying is easier there; loads of tools, materials, storage space and room to work, etc. But there is a problem. The house is not used in the winter months, and its not heated in any way during that time. Will paints or other materials be damaged by temperatures down to at least -20 C (at times)? Will plastic miniatures become fragile sooner, for instance?

Thankful for any advice, Im sure some of you have had similar problems (if it is a problem at all)?

I stored a lot of paints in a cold storage over the winter a few years ago and they were all ruined. Gw and vallejo, so do not store them in cold temp.

Thanks, I guess I will have to pack my paints up and bring them back home before winter then - but the minis will have to stay...
