Post subject:  Tank Turret Suppliers?
I want to upgrade some models I have (Rhinos) with turrets.

I was told to ask here about options.

I've found two suppliers on Shapeways and was wondering if any of you had any experience with the actual models.

@Bruticus: Awesome painting. I could only hope my models will look half as good.

I was very pleased with the Predator turrets I ordered from EpicMinis, too. Mine were the chaos variants but I'm sure the loyalist versions are just as good.

Not turrets, but I got some of the 6mm dozer blades from mrmr and they are EXCELLENT.

See sean ... I was not Bull *bleep*'n when I said, Tac Cmd is the place to go for 6mm Sci-fi, especially Epic ... ;D I always mention Tac Cmd on TMP frequently as I've been getting some great hard to find stuff from the crew here for decades ! I like to share the good intel bro ... O0 :spin Tac Cmd is really the source for pretty much all 6mm sci-fi ... Exodus Wars, DRM, CinC/PFC, Onslaught, Microworld, TMG, Angel Barracks, Plasmablast, etc. ... to name a few ... :whistle

I've used the chaos versions of the Epic Minis turrets. They look great. shapeways is very detailed but the highest level is a bit flimsy, and expensive. But, they look great!

About 2/3 down the page. I heartily recommend these. They look best on whirlwind hulls, IMO. For destructors I clipped one barrel of of the annihilator turrets - I don't care for the funky T-62/T-55 look on a pred, but that's just personal taste.

@Legion4: Thanks for sending me here. I am on TMP way more often than this forum, but since I've started hitting 6mm a little more, I might have to make a point of getting here more often. Thanks!!!!

@Luke: Very nice looking army. I think I will be happy with my purchase and probably end up buying more.

@captPiett: Very nice work. I love the attack bike conversion. I have been wondering how to add some of these to my army and now I have a template to work from.

I just got my order from Shapeways and I am very impressed with these turrets. I will be ordering more as soon as I get these mounted and painted.

Thanks for the recommendation guys. Some of my Rhinos will become predators for about $1 each. Not a bad deal.
