Incredible detail! Basing is nice, I think it ties a unit together.

Hi all, its been a while!

Thought I'd share a few WIP pics of some Cyberpunk 6mm minis Ive been working on. Im slowly learning Zbrush in my spare time and 6mm cyberpunk is something Ive been wanting to do for years,
ever since converting my GW eldar (sadly long gone) to corporate agents when the army boxes were £5!

These are insipred from 90s video games and anime - such as Syndicate wars and Ghost in the Shell. Im aiming to make around four factions, plus vehicles and terrain.

Base meshes- Some basic poses I can use to make the factions. These are the digital equvalent of armatures or body blanks. I couldnt find any 6mm base meshes available anywhere so I made my own. Had to alter the proportions a bit

Basemesh rig - playing around with a rig to pose the minis. Took a while to set up but I got it working on the minigun teams below. Its basically an inner skeleton which moves the outer mesh. Interesting and powerful stuff for making multi pose minis.

Sportsbike - Had to do this. Aiming to make a few variants and have sci fi biker gangs. 2019 Neo Toyko :D

Spiderbot - I originally done this in Microsfot 3D builder. A very basic but easy to use 3d CAD program. I recently imported this into Zbrush to smooth out the models legs.

Test Prints - I own a cheap chinese resin 3d printer, an Anycubic Photon. I absolutely love it! THis was a quick test print of the model above. The weeapon needs beefing up a bit, and ill kick her hip out a bit but happy with it overall

Im going to be droping pics in a Facebook album, https://www.facebook.com/velvet.mark.9/ ... 524&type=3 feel free to add me if interested. I'll try and post here too:)

Thanks for looking!
Mark

Amazing stuff, your modelling skills are fantastic and you have a real sense of proportion and how to give a dynamic but realistic pose. Really impressive stuff, and exciting to see you're making them too

Oh hell yeah; small unit combat with Syndicate style teams would be awesome (o:

I'm not sure I think 6mm is ideal for it, but I love that it exists

Thanks very much your are too kind! Im used to sculpting in traditional mediums like greenstuff. I think once I got over the Zbrush UI it is just like digital clay.

Thanks mate! I think for myself and the space I have, and the existing minis is have, and to get a big enough city scape it had to be 6mm. I'm thinking of a strategic level rather than tactical game, where the agents are mounted four to bases, possible PVE and PVP between the players. Rules wise something like Net Epic meets Root lol.
I did print out some in 30mm scale a couple of years ago . the Spiderbot is massive! https://www.instagram.com/p/BT2AZRZj2Pt/

Thanks very Much!

I thought Id share a few more test prints. There isn't enough definition so I'm revisiting the above designs and exaggerating them further
