Thanks! Definitely a case of necessity being the mother of invention, but it seems to have worked out.

If your eBay username is the same as your TacCom username, I think you sold it to me!

Ah, no worries. It arrived yesterday and has now joined the queue. I've had plenty to be getting on with in the meantime.

Yesterday I was planning to paint up a pair of Cobras, but in the end all I got around to was this one stand of Wraithguard:

This might not seem like much, but it does mean that I now have three Wraithguard stands painted for every Guardian Warhost I have. It also bring the total value of the army up to 9,000 points exactly.

Hopefully I'll have those Cobras painted up by the end of the week.

OK, now for a proper update: two Penis Tanks Cobras!

Really, could the D-cannons on these models be any more phallic?

Next for this army will be three Scorpions and some Vypers, probably in that order. Not sure after that. Maybe I'll finally get around to those Chaos Havoc characters.

Thanks, guys. Yeah, I like painting gems. It's a really nice effect for something that's really not that hard to do. The only tricky bit is making sure that the white 'glint' is in the same place on every gem.

OK, maybe not in that order. I've started the Scorpions, but finished the Vypers:

I've swapped the weapons on the turrets for scatter lasers (I think the original ones are supposed to be Shuriken Cannon), taken from TMG's Eloi Established. I was undecided on whether I was going to bother until I came to strip the miniatures ready for repainting. Then I managed to snap off one of the existing guns by mistake and lose it down the plughole! That pretty much committed me to replacing the weapons.

Great to see you back Axel, your work was missed mate. The Eldar are coming along nicely to, don't be too harsh on yourself, your "rusty" is better than my "in the zone!".

Keep em comin

Thanks, guys. Yeah, I'm getting back into the swing of things now and I think I've adjusted to the slightly different paint as well.

It's been a bit of a busy week but I managed to get a bit of painting in on Friday evening and today. So I have finally got those Scorpions finished:

These bring the army up to 10,250 points, meaning that the Eldar are now my largest painted army.

Coming next will be a Pathfinder troupe.

Aaand here they are:

Having this second Pathfinder troupe not only means that I can take two troupes, but the extra models mean that if the proposed changes for v3.1 of the list ever get approved then I'll be able to take the maximum-sized troupe of 8 Pathfinders.

Next up might be those Aspect Warriors that I've been promising since the start of the thread. Or I might get distracted and paint something else. Again.
