I completely and fully understand!

After months of searching for a suitable proxy for some Armour for my space skaven and not finding anything close to being rat like, I decided to see what I could scratch build. After a couple of errors I can now knock up a perfect base model, and so have now started working on adding details. I am going to make around ten of these, as well a giant command version, Followed by four heavy weapons variants. After that I'm looking to make a destroyed version with exposed driver and inner cab.

Cheap to make as I am now on a shoestring budget, made from scraps and a couple of trouble maker bases. I hope too have more designs in the future. I have loads of ideas in my head, I just need more time to sit and get on with them. Sadly, that will be no time soon, so I'm hoping I don't loose the spark of imagination for these before then!

Been super busy over the last few months, been out the country to choose a new house, been helping the in laws clear out 40+ years worth of junk in prep for said new house, But been snatching five minutes here and there to do some little bits of work, and being as Ive had a couple of whole days to myself this weekend, Ive stuck on some rubbish tv and finished up some half made projects and started on some new ones!






Finished up the first few sections of my road system that I started on months and months ago. These are designed to fit in between the buildings in my planned 'micro-munda' table for 6mm 40k skirmish! All hand made, they take an age to paint.





Bit more work done towards my bad moon warband. The gunwagon turret needs to be fixed in placed but was easier to paint separate, and the banner needs the bad moon decal sheet I have hidden in side an old white dwarf which has gone AWOL somewhere in the flat!

Bad moon weird boy. I might add a little rust to his peg leg, and I might add smoke to the gubbins behind him.

Whilst clearing out the in-laws attic, I found a few bits of treasure. Most of it completely worthless, like old keep sakes, expensive jewellery they had forgotten about, among other such nonsense, but I was able to rescue this priceless artifact, and when time permits I will give it a new lease of life, but I thought this was a fantastic starting point for a huge imperial building....



It needs the inside gutting, as the lights are completely ruined, and the music thingy needs to be taken out, and the other side needs all detail added as it is blank.

Love the minatures and basing and that church looks awesome what a find

Wanted to paint something completely out of my comfort zone as everything else I have started recently has stalled and not gone anywhere. Never tried to paint any thing space wolf before, never painted any imperial tank before, and never managed to get a convincing snow base before.

Needs a varnish on the snow to smooth it down and I haven't ruined it by adding any freehand yet as I haven't decided exactly what markings I wanted yet, and probably wont until much later down the line.
