Just came across this thread - excellent looking stuff. The basing for those superheavies is really good. Sometimes the base is just as important as the paintwork in selling a miniature. These are of the highest quality.

I've just put online a complete tutorial on how to create scenic stands for your Epic Armies.

It's in french, but you can use Google Translate to read this article in your mother langage. ^^

Hi !

I haven't any spare time to paint since some months, but i try to go forward anyway ! ^^

I've also added barb wire to the stand of my first Gorgone.
I couldn't let a "WWI look & feel" army without some barb wire ! ^^

nice touch. Looks like the wire is actual wire.
Have you thought about using textured barbed wire product or using an old bit of screen door instead? Either approach gives the "nubbins", so to speak, that helps keep the illusion of barbs when looking at them.

I've finally find the time to finish my Death Riders company and scout squadron ! During this last 8 months, i've only achieved to paint 1750 army points for my DKOK. Ôo
Road is long and hard to get a high level army...
