WOW! Very nice. You are very skilled. I love the bright green highlights. It's very nice for this scale, really makes them stand out. |

Thanks, that green isn't as straight forward as I thought it would be. I was inspired by Elsmore's BLs and used a similar blending technique. I was tempted at first to do traditional dark green salamanders (I still have that first little red A5 space marine painting guide), but like you say bright colours stand out in 6 mil. |

Thanks guys, I've got some lovely looking Landraiders to work on, just ordered some custom bases from Fenris to put them on Pill/lozenge shaped. |

Thanks guys, I have to admit that there is no freehand on these minis, unless you count the battle damage. The salamander and devastator icons are decals which I made (digital freehand). As for having gazillions of armies, sadly not, I've dabbled in several. I plan on building up my Tau, Imperial Guard (we are still calling em that right?), Orks and these Salamanders. I like to have some variety in my painting, to take away the mundanity of army painting. ![]() |
