![]() http://store.metal-express.net/index.ph ... cts_id=196 Seems like a little conversion work and this may make a decent proxy for the Eldar Grav Tanks. It has the right overall hull shape and some good details. Thinking I may order some of these along with a few other ships and see what works. |

Yeah, it does look Eldarish. |

I went ahead and placed a small order to check scale and such, unfortunately I do not own of the official tanks, and am hoping they'll look decent, but we'll see. |

Ah Silent Death. Now known as Shrike but I knew it originally as Talon in 1st ed box set. Nice and sleek and very Eldar-ish. |

The Talon is different, this is bigger and has less curve on the arms. I have a couple talons. I thought about using those as fighter craft of some sort. |

Lotus- you misunderstood. This figure WAS the FIRST edition Talon. Just now it has been renamed as the Shrike. You are correct- the SECOND edition Talon is smaller and with more curves. Still a nice fighter though. Hope that clarifies what I meant. |

Oh, my mistake then. I am hoping this is large enough to work, we'll see. |

Eldar stuff is unique and distinctive enough that I suspect we'll see kitbashed / custom-modeled versions only for a long time. |

Honestly, there is nothing that is unique. I think we will just have to wait and see. Coneheads are coming, and they are sarcastic beyond measure. :-) |

Hi! That's a neat find Lotus! I definitely agree this is a good proxy for the Eldar falcon. Primarch |

There are a number of ships in the old silent death line (great game) that work thematically for several of the 40K armies. Just today I saw a picture on this site with a different ship from the line being used as a chaos plane (hell talon, I think). |

Well I ordered 3 of these, an Isawa and a Sorenson, they all have a nice curved look to them,, so I am hoping to find a place for all of them with my Eldar-ish force. I just need to order some weapons to mount on them and I'll be golden. |
